  1. It looks like you are still in the brainstorming phase. Try to research more about notable or popular places in Sao Paulo. The type choice works but you need an icon to complement it.

  2. I like the approach of the accent in the character a and that the colors reflect the color of the country like in the bottom one... the font is simple and has a brazillian feeling i seen that kind of type use in things form brazil before...
You might think of any other graphic that would represent sao paulo a little more... there's a interesting bridge in sao pablo is a big city.. nice beaches very tropical, carnival, parades and colorful stuff that goes on in that city

  3. Right now, the olympic logo is the focal point. The title is almost a sup title to a diivision of Olympics. You have the wave idea. I think you should used that wave and incorporate it into the design than just having it on the top of the a. Im guessing its suppose to symbolize an accent mark. The brazil flag has movement in it because of the globe's tilt. Maybe try incorporating that tilt, not the globe, into the design. Try having the sao paulo in a perspective view. With that, you can exemplify the accent mark. Almost like a 3d theme.

  4. i feel you should use the bottom logo but add another image to your logo that represents Brazil..maybe you should even play with the sizes of your type style and figure out if you want the rings to have the most hierarchy..i say play around with it some more and maybe you can combine 2 ideas in one!

  5. The type and color is nice but you definitely need to work on an icon. The globe is a good start, try stylizing it a bit more. Also, try playing around with different arrangements of the elements and see how that works.

  6. Try finding a different icon instead of just taking whats on the flag. That way, people can get a better idea of the place. If you go with the ones on the left, Make the rings small and do something more interest with the type so that the rings isn't the main focus.

  8. I don't think there is much to the logo yet. I do like the squiggles, but I don't think you can call that a complete icon. The circle from the Brazilian flag is too straight forward. Maybe try to design something to compliment the squiggles.

  9. I like the idea of coloring the the accent(?) on the "a" but it still news an icon of something, I don't think the navy type works the once towards the bottom.

  10. I also think you need an icon that represents the city. If you want to incorporate the blue shape you can replace the 0 in 2016 with that, that might work.

  11. I like the one with the blue ball on top. I think it has a good balance and the typeface is working well with your design. One thing I would change about it is the color of the ball. I think the color is too strong. I would go with maybe a gradation or a lighter color.

  12. I think that there should be more to you current logo.
Play with different ideas for the icon because just having the accent above the "a" is too minimal. But it is also good that you are using colors from their flag.

  13. I like the wave on top of the word Sao. I think if you make it a bit bigger it would make a nice icon.

The blue circle with a curved line could also work. =)

  14. hugo,

what happened? what you showed me the other day in your sketches looks nothing like this. the waves in the color of the flag was a graphic icon that worked, now it is the smallest element in the lockup. the rings dominate the layout and i dont think that is the route you want to go. make the city the hero

  15. The bottom one looks best among these designs; The colors work better, you might want to develop more ideas as well. good work!
