hey i really like your number three i think it works because it still his the simple clean layout as the rest of your thumbnails but also has the smear or shadow that adds personality
I would say the last one....since it's clean....I like the way of only having a big "5" is an idea that has potential but it does not apply to the character of Adobe software.
Number is a nice layout. Maybe you could use the Adobe logo as a mask and put images inside it to make it more interesting. Like if it was the cover for Illustrator you could but vector drawings and use the adobe A logo as a clipping path.
I like how clean they seems. It would have been nice to see a program within the suite. I like how you're playing around with the number 5, I think it communicates the idea strongly.
Maybe you can tweak No.4 and center the Adobe CS, then lower the opacity or use a spot varnish for a "V" large and behind it. I like the simple and clean ideas that you want to go for.
#3 is my most favorite one. I think adding gradation on the bottom of the letters will be very different. I can picture it in color and it looks good. :) I like the placement of the logo. I would probably make it just a little bit larger.
My neck hurts now... lol. I think number 2 and number 5 are very cool but a little plain. Be careful not to have too much negative space in number 5. With the right colors and arrangement both could be be successful designs.
I like the concept of #6, but visually it is not there yet. The idea of using the roman numeral rather than the regular number is cool. You worked it out pretty well, I would have thought that one would read it as CSV, but the size difference works out nice. Good job.

ReplyDeleteI think the last one for me works good. I imaging it looking like a glossy surface and the reflection being crispy clear.

I think number 2 works the best. Maybe you can have some sort of texture or gradient in the negative space.

i like the giant 5. its bold, simple and in your face. but i would like to see how you handle the other programs of CS5 and how you use color.
ReplyDeleteSketch 4 has a bold presence and would definitely stand out. I would like to see how it translates into different versions.

ReplyDeleteNumber 3 stands out the most but maybe CS5 could be thicker or bolder. At the bottom, "Adobe Creative Suite 5" should be all in one line.
